Ali was born in Turkey. He studied Spanish Language and Culture. During his bachelor's degree, he started to grow interest in tourism. He worked as a travel designer taking travelers from all over the world to different historical sites in Istanbul. He also organized trips for Touristanbul of Turkish Airlines. He then completed his master's degree in Latin American Studies at the University of Granada. This academic experience gave him a different perspective on the history of Spain and he became deeply involved in the history of Al Andalus in particular. The in-depth reading about Al Andalus led him to study tour guiding and become the first Turk to obtain a tour guide license in Spain. After working as an official tourist guide throughout Spain for 5 years, he finally decided to start his own travel agency with the vision to let the whole world know about this amazing tale called "Al Andalus".

Sacromonte is a maze of narrow streets and stepped courtyards in the old quarter of Granada.
